The idea
Links from Claude, Slack, WhatsApp and other apps open in whatever Chrome/Comet profile happens to be in front, not the one they belong to. I'm signed into my work Google in one profile and personal in another, so half my links land in the wrong account. Research so far: macOS hands links to the browser app, not a profile, and neither Chrome nor Comet lets you pick a profile for outside links. Router apps (Finicky, free and config-based; Velja, Choosy, OpenIn, paid with a GUI) fix it with rules you set up by hand. Finicky handles Chrome profiles, but I'm not sure any of them support Comet yet. Work needed: a router that picks the profile by itself, from which profile is signed into that site or used it last, with no rules to write. It should cover Chrome and Comet, and it could start as a Finicky config generator.
